Cartify
Getting started with Cartify
Install Cartify — Multi Carts Sharing from the Shopify App Store. The published plan is free. There is no plan to pick.
Turn the drawer on
- Open Cartify in the Shopify admin. The first visit asks you to turn the storefront embed on.
- Open the theme editor for the theme customers actually see.
- Go to App embeds and turn on Cartify-Button.
- Save the theme.
When that embed is on and the theme is saved, the setup step completes. Open the online store, not only the editor. An embed that looks enabled in a draft theme is not on the published theme until you save it there.
Optional: labels and colors
On the same embed you can set:
- The Save label, and whether that button shows.
- The My carts label.
- Which side of the screen the bar sits on.
- Background and text color.
- Cart as grid, for how saved carts are laid out.
- Enable Upsell Suggestions. Leave this on if you want an offer in the drawer. It is on by default.
Check it with a customer
- Log in on the storefront as a customer, not as staff in the theme editor.
- Add a product and open My carts.
- Save the cart and give it a name.
- Add different products, save a second cart, and switch back to the first.
If Save says the visitor must sign up, they are not logged in. Guests can open the drawer. Only an account can keep a named cart.
Then follow named carts, sharing, and offers.
