Using Cartify
Three jobs: keep more than one named cart, share one with a link, and show one offer in the drawer.
Named carts
The customer has to be logged in.
- They add products, then choose Save on the Cartify bar or in the drawer.
- They pick Create New Cart and type a name, or they pick a cart they already saved and replace it.
- They open My carts and use the switch control to see every saved cart.
- They open one and switch to it. That cart becomes the one they are shopping with.
- They can delete a saved cart from that list.
The unsaved bag on this device shows as unsaved until they name it. An empty cart cannot be saved.
In the admin, Multi Carts Manager lists saved carts with the customer and how many times each share link was opened. Until someone saves a cart, that home page stays empty. The totals are carts, views, and customers.
Share a link
- The customer opens My carts and opens a cart they have already saved.
- They choose share and Copy link.
- They send that link themselves — in a message, an email, or anywhere else. Cartify does not email it.
Whoever opens the link lands in the cart on your store with those variants and quantities, and can check out. They do not have to be logged in to receive the cart. Each open is counted on that cart in Multi Carts Manager.
An unsaved cart has no link yet. Sharing it asks the customer to save first, which needs an account.
An offer in the drawer
The listing calls this Magic Cart. In the admin the page is Upsell Offers. The published plan includes one offer. To suggest a different product, delete the one you have. There is no paid plan to buy.
- Open Upsell Offers and create an offer.
- Write a title. Shoppers see that title on the card.
- Select the product you want to suggest.
- Choose the price shown on the card: the product's price, a fixed amount in cents (1999 is 19.99), or a percent-off badge.
- Select the trigger products. The offer shows only when one of those is already in the cart, and not when the suggested product is already in the cart.
- Leave the offer Active.
- In the theme editor, leave Enable Upsell Suggestions on, and save.
Open the drawer with a trigger product in the cart. The suggestion sits with the items, under You might also like. Add puts that product in the cart.
The price and the percent are what the card shows. Add does not create a Shopify discount. If the charged price must change, change the product price or use a Shopify discount.
A product that is sold out, unpublished, or already in the cart is not offered.
Checkout
On Shopify Plus, the checkout editor can include the Cartify block. A logged-in customer can save the checkout cart, then open saved carts and copy a share link. On every other plan, use the storefront drawer. Switching to a different saved cart is done in that drawer, not in checkout.
