Rankify
Getting started
Rankify runs in the Shopify admin. You do not add a theme section to sort a collection.
Install
- Open Rankify: Collection Sort on the Shopify App Store.
- Install it on the store you want to merchandise.
- In the Shopify admin, open Rankify.
The admin can follow Spanish, French, or German, including numbers, dates, and currency. Use the language switcher if the store should not stay in English.
Sort one collection by what sold
- Open Strategies (Beta) and choose New strategy. You can also start from the Best Sellers First template with Use Template.
- Name the strategy, for example
Best sellers. - Under How products are ranked, leave Sort by rules in order.
- Add a rule. Choose Best Selling Quantity, then Descending, so the larger sales number comes first. Best Selling Revenue is the same idea in money instead of units.
- Save the strategy.
- Open Manage Collections. On a collection you already have, choose Attach a custom sort strategy, pick the strategy, and choose Attach Strategy.
- Or open New smart collection, name it, and under Ranking select the same strategy. Conditions decide which products belong. Ranking decides their order.
- Turn on Push sold-out to bottom if empty products should not lead the grid.
- Under Automation, open Auto-update collection, turn on Auto-update frequency, and pick an interval. Intervals the plan does not include send you to choose a plan. Save.
On Manage Collections, a sort shows as Pending or Running until it finishes. After that, the row shows when it last ran. Open the collection and use View in storefront to check the grid.
If Sort Now is on the collection, the plan includes a manual update and you can apply the order without waiting for the next run.
