Getting started

Install Claimify, publish one form, and put it where customers already look up their order.

1. Install the app

  1. Open Claimify on the Shopify App Store.
  2. Click Install and approve the access Shopify shows you.
  3. Choose a plan. Basic is $9 a month, Plus is $19, and Business is $49. Every plan includes a 3-day free trial. There is no free plan. Shopify bills the charge.

Inside the app, the $19 plan is labeled Advanced. On the App Store it is Plus.

2. Finish the checklist

A new shop sees a setup checklist on the app home. Work through it, or skip it and come back later. The checklist covers the form, the storefront placement, and the emails customers receive.

3. Create the first form

Basic includes one claim form, up to 3 claim reasons, basic validation, and standard email templates.

  1. Open Forms and create a form. You can start from a template.
  2. Name the reasons customers will recognize, such as arrived damaged, wrong item, or warranty.
  3. Set who may file. A basic rule is enough to start: only fulfilled orders, and only inside your return window.
  4. Save, then use Open in storefront and file a test claim against a real order.

Plus removes the one-form limit and adds advanced validation, custom questions, and auto-approval. Details are in Creating your first form.

4. Let customers find it

Use the place that matches how people already contact you:

  • Customer account. A signed-in customer sees their claims and can file another one. Add the Claimify portal on the account page, and the file-a-claim action on an order.
  • Order confirmation page. The customer can start a request right after checkout.
  • Storefront. In the theme editor, add the Claim Form block to a returns or help page. You do not edit theme code.

Copy the form link from Open in storefront if you also want it in a menu or a policy page. Steps are in Displaying forms.

5. Resolve the test claim

Open Claims. The test request is a card on the list or the board. Open it, check the items and photos, and issue the outcome in Shopify: a refund, a replacement order, a gift card, a discount code, or store credit.

When that path feels right, add auto-approval rules for the requests you would approve every time.
