Frequently asked questions
What is Claimify?
Claimify handles returns, refunds, exchanges, and warranty claims for a Shopify store. Customers file from a branded portal. You resolve every request from one dashboard. The app is Built for Shopify.
Where do customers file?
From their customer account or the order confirmation page. You can also add the Claim Form block to a storefront page, or link the form from a menu. A signed-in customer can see claims they already filed.
Is there a free plan?
No. Basic is $9 a month. It includes 1 claim form, basic validation rules, up to 3 claim reasons, standard email templates, and email support.
What are the other plans?
Prices are monthly, billed in USD by Shopify. Every plan has a 3-day free trial. Annual billing saves 17%.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | What you unlock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $9 | $90 | 1 form, basic validation, up to 3 reasons, standard emails |
| Plus | $19 | $190 | Unlimited forms, advanced and custom validation, smart auto-approval, custom branding, advanced analytics, priority support |
| Business | $49 | $490 | Everything in Plus, workflows, returns management, sending domain, custom domain, a dedicated account manager, step-by-step warranty forms |
On the App Store the middle plan is Plus. Inside the app it is labeled Advanced. It is the same $19 plan.
Can a claim be approved without my team?
Yes, on Plus. An auto-approval rule checks the claim when it is submitted and can approve, reject, or move it to a status you created. Turn on automatic processing only for outcomes you would make every time, such as a small refund. See Auto-approval.
Workflows that branch (store credit, a replacement order, an RMA return) are on Business. See Workflows.
How does a resolution reach Shopify?
From the claim, you refund to the original payment method, create a replacement order, issue a gift card or a discount code, or add store credit. Store credit needs a real customer on the order. The money and the order stay in Shopify. Claimify does not process the card payment itself.
Can I use my own email domain?
Yes, on Business. Verify the domain from Claimify's domain settings, then send from an address on that domain. See Sending domain.
Which languages are included?
The listing includes English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese (Brazil). The claim page can follow the shopper's language. You can edit the customer-facing strings.
Does Claimify have an API?
Yes, a read-only API on Plus and Business. Generate a token under Settings, API Access. For automations, connect Shopify Flow or one of the integrations in Settings.
Who do I contact?
Email hello@xco.agency with the shop domain and a screenshot. See Support.
Can a shopper file a claim without an account?
Yes, if you allow a claim with no order, or if they look up an order with the order details you require.
The claim page is in the wrong language.
The shopper page follows their language when you have provided that translation. The admin language is a separate setting.
The import matched the wrong order.
Stop and fix the column map. A column named Order is not enough if the values are not the order names in Shopify.
Can I exclude a brand from claims?
Yes. Limit the form to vendors, product types, tags, or products you pick, and check the count before you save.
The shopper only sees a refund.
The form does not offer an exchange yet. Add that resolution and file a new test claim.
I want the replacement to use the same products.
From the claim, place a new order for the products on it. That keeps the new order tied to the request.
