Claimify
Sending and custom domain
Sending domain integration and custom domain settings are on the Business plan.
Use this when claim emails should come from your store, such as claims@yourdomain.com, instead of the default sender.
Verify the domain
- Open Settings, then the domain / email domain screen.
- Add the domain you want to send from, such as
yourdomain.com. Pick a region if the screen asks for one. - Claimify shows the DNS records to add at the host that manages that domain. Copy them as shown.
- Choose Verify. The screen warns that verification can take up to 72 hours. It is often faster.
- When the status is verified, set the sending name and address.
Until the domain is verified, leave the default sender in place. Customers will not reliably receive mail from an unverified domain.
What customers see
- From name is the name in the inbox, such as "Northwind Support".
- From email is the address on your domain.
- Reply-to is where a customer's reply should land, if that is a different mailbox.
- You can copy your team on outgoing claim mail from the template settings.
Send a test to yourself after verification and confirm the message is not in spam before you turn it on for customers. The same Business plan lists custom domain settings next to sending domain integration. Use the domain screen Claimify shows you. Do not point the form at a hostname you have not verified there.
