Statuses, resolutions, and plans

Statuses say where a claim is. Resolutions say how you closed it. Both show up on the board, in emails, and in analytics.

Statuses

A new claim starts pending. Move it to processing while someone is looking at it, then to approved or rejected.

Plus lets you add your own, for example "Waiting for a photo", "With the carrier", or "Manager review". Each custom status can be set to email the customer or to stay quiet. Use a quiet status for internal steps so the customer is not mailed every time a card moves.

Resolutions

The built-in outcomes are a refund, a replacement order, a gift card, a discount code, and store credit. Plus adds resolutions you name yourself, such as repair or partial credit, so the report is more specific than "other".

A custom resolution still maps back to a refund, a replacement, or another outcome. That keeps the totals honest when you have several names for the same kind of close.

Plans

Billing is through Shopify. There is no free plan.
