Where customers file
Three places share the same form. Use the one your customers already open.
Customer account
This is the path on the listing, and the one to set up first.
- In the customer account editor, add Claimify Portal so a signed-in customer can see their claims and file another.
- On the order, add the file-a-claim action. The order is already selected. They do not look it up again.
- Save and publish the account configuration.
A customer who is not using the new customer accounts can still open the form link and look the order up with their email and order number.
Order confirmation page
Add Claimify to the order confirmation page so a customer can start a return, exchange, or warranty claim after checkout. This is the second place named on the listing. It does not cancel the order for them. It files a claim your team, or a rule, then resolves.
Theme block
- Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.
- Open the returns, help, or contact page.
- Add the Claim Form block.
- Save the theme.
Nothing is written into the theme's code. Remove the block in the theme editor if you take it down. The Claimify home screen shows whether that block is on the published theme.
A link in a menu
- Open the form in Claimify.
- Click Open in storefront.
- Copy the address from the browser.
- In Online Store > Navigation, add a menu item such as "Start a return" with that address.
Use a separate form, and a separate link, when returns and warranty should not share one set of reasons. Basic includes one form. Plus includes unlimited forms.
Shopify Flow
Claim created, claim updated, warranty registered, and warranty expiring can start a Shopify Flow workflow. That is how a claim reaches Gorgias, Klaviyo, Make, or Zapier. Steps are in Connect Claimify.
