The job board is not on the store​

Workify is a theme section, not an app embed.

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
  2. Add a section named Workify or Workify Job List.
  3. Save.
  4. In Workify, confirm at least one job is published. A draft, a closed job, a hired job, and a job pending approval are not on the board.

If you changed the theme, add the section again on the theme you actually published.

I cannot publish another job​

Basic allows one published job. Archive the live job, or close it, and then publish the next one. Plus and Business do not have that limit.

An employer’s job never appeared​

It is waiting under Jobs → Pending approval. Choose Approve & publish if it should go live. Nothing an employer submits is public until you approve it, unless Employer Settings says otherwise.

Email is not arriving​

Basic includes no emails. Status email is on Plus and Business.

If you are on Plus or Business:

  1. Check the address on the application.
  2. Ask the recipient to look in spam.
  3. Confirm Settings → Emails is saved.

Employer approval and rejection emails are sent when you approve, ask for changes, or reject. They are not sent on Basic, because Basic does not include the employer portal.

A resume will not upload​

The file must be 10 MB or smaller. Accepted types are PDF, Word (DOC and DOCX), RTF, plain text, and ODT. Ask the applicant to rename a file that uses unusual characters, then try again.

A custom question is missing​

Save the form after you add it. On Basic, a job can have one custom question. Extra questions need Plus or Business. Questions you hid, and questions that only appear after another answer, stay off the form until that answer is chosen.

Employers stopped getting emails about their jobs​

Between 13 August and 3 September 2026, emails about a submitted job (received, approved, rejected and the new applicant alert) were not sent. This was fixed on 3 September. Jobs submitted since then send them again.

The jobs page colors do not change​

Customizing the jobs page needs Plus or Business. On Basic the standard design is used.
