Product Scheduler

Advanced Product Selection

Advanced Product Selection lets you match products with rules instead of ticking each one. The app marks this Beta. It is the Advanced choice on a product schedule, not the choice you use when you are scheduling a collection itself.

An extra filter on top of a selection (sold in the last few days, or order count) is not on the form. Use these rules instead.

🚀 Why Use Advanced Selection?

  • Automation: The rules run when the schedule runs, so products that match on that day are included. It is not a frozen list of products.
  • Speed: Select hundreds of products in seconds by defining simple rules.
  • Precision: Filter products by title, type, vendor, price, inventory, and more.

📝 How to Set Up Rules

  1. Choose "Advanced" when creating or editing a schedule.
  2. Add a Rule: Click "Add Rule" to start defining your criteria.
  3. Select a Field: Choose what to filter by (e.g., Product Title, Vendor, Price).
  4. Choose an Operator: Decide how to match (e.g., equals, contains, is greater than).
  5. Enter a Value: Type the specific value you are looking for (e.g., "Summer Collection").

Rule Combination Logic

When you have multiple rules, you can choose how they interact:

  • AND: Products must match all rules to be selected.
  • OR: Products will be selected if they match at least one rule.

🔍 Examples

GoalRule
All T-shirtsProduct type equals T-shirt
One brandVendor equals the brand name
Sale tagProduct tags has that tag
Active onlyStatus is Active
Low inventoryInventory quantity is less than 10
A price bandPrice is between the minimum and the maximum
New arrivalsCreated at is after the date you pick
In a collectionIn collection is that collection

You can also match barcode, SKU, and updated date. Title, barcode, and SKU can contain, exclude, or start with the text you type.

✅ Previewing Results

Before saving your schedule, always click "Preview Matching Products". This allows you to verify that your rules are selecting exactly what you intend.
